We have now been running for 15 months and have secured two lots of funding, £225.00 from BT Community Champions, see links below to see the cheque and certificate. The important thing is, we have our 1st funding.......!!

We have also secured some more funding From Derby City Partnership, in total, £3000 to go to The Roundabouts Group. This will be shared amongst the other projects, including this one. This is great news and a great morale boost to all those involved, many thanks to them. See link below.

Needed - Urgently

We need a shed for 2008, the one we have is old and wont last another winter, so if you a shed that is surplus to requirement, please let me know. I will be able to pick up if local, preferably 6x4 or even better 6x8. The shed we have at this time is enough room to house the tools we have, I need a decent shed for a communal area, so we can take breaks, drink tea and enjoy the view of the allotment. Hope you can help. Brett

We now have a shed, thanks to Carl from Derby. I advertised on Freecycle last week and Carl has kindly donated an 8x6 shed!! We just have to dismantle and collect. I will take photos and post them on the website once we have put it up. Brett

Shed is up and looks good, all we need is some new felt for the roof!!

I was asked a couple of weeks ago by City-zen, a local group in Derby if I could come to one of their evenings they hold every month. They wanted to contribute something to streetshift, which will be in the form of a small donation, I of course said Yes!

I had to say a few words about this project, which really scared me as I hate getting on stage or in front of people!

I did, and It wasn't that bad.

Anyway, thank you to City-zen for the publicity and the donation of £50.00
